Participating in Global Discipleship
Where the Gospel hasn't gone, we need to go. We long for the fulfillment of Revelation 5:9-10; where every tribe, language, people and nation would be worshipping our Lord. In keeping with this vision, we focus our global ministry to the most critically needy areas of the world. That is, any area that is lacking proper resources in church planting, leadership development, and church growth.
This is accomplished through mobilization our own and partnering with organizations in other parts of the world who are training leaders, planting churches, and making disciples.
All of our Field Staff have grown up at Harmony and been sent out by Harmony to make global disciples. Some of them are serving in the least reached parts of the world. We are committed to supporting & encouraging them all in their work. We want to care for our field staff in a manner that is worthy of God (3 John 5-8). Our field staff is on the front lines, often ministering in difficult locations and circumstances. It will be our goal to shepherd them in a way that they remain healthy, encouraged, and spiritually vibrant so they can minister with maximum effectiveness.

Unreached People groups (FINISH THE MISSION)
An unreached people group is a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians (a church). It could also be a people group that has some believers but not an adequate number to sustain the work to that particular people group. Harmony Bible Church is focused on doing what it takes to reach these people groups.
Language & Cultural fluency
In order to reach the unreached, Harmony believes that a huge commitment needs to be made to achieve language fluency in the heart language of those you are sent to reach. You cannot learn culture without language, and you cannot understand the meaning and functioning of language without culture. Without knowing the culture exceptionally well, you have no hope of making the message of the Gospel either understandable or culturally relevant. Therefore, we place a high value on language and culture fluency..
The ultimate goal of the Great Commission, the primary means of seeing God’s Name honored among the nations, the context in which transformation is brought to the nations is through the Church. A healthy, reproducing group of Jesus followers among the unreached People Groups of the world is the focus of Harmony Bible Church.
Sending and Shepherding
If we are to finish the mission or reaching all people groups, we must mobilize laborers to go into the harvest (Matthew 9:37-38). Therefore we make every effort to mobilize and send our people to reach the unreached. In sending we want to care for our workers in a manner that is worthy of God’s calling (3 John 5-8). Our workers are on the front lines, often ministering in difficult locations and circumstances. It is our goal to shepherd them in a way that they remain healthy, encouraged, and spiritually vibrant so they can minister with maximum effectiveness.
We cannot shoulder the task of reaching the unreached alone; we seek to partner with national believers in other parts of the world who are training leaders, planting churches, and making disciples. Therefore we will seek to partner with institutions and individuals who are ministering to the unreached.
