On March 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., we will be hosting a workshop at our Burlington Campus to help equip men to fight the battle for purity. This event is for all men, ages 16 and older. Whether you struggle with sexual purity, want to learn more, or desire to be equipped to support your brothers in the Lord, please join us at Liberate.
This trip is intended to help our field partner, SETECA, and to mobilize our people to be engaged in God’s plan to reach the nations with His gospel. SETECA is a seminary in the heart of Guatemala City which trains students to share the good news of Jesus with those who have never heard.
This is a casual potluck with the intention of learning how we as a church can be supportive to our Foster/Adoptive/Safe Families parents! It’s also a time for these families to encourage and connect with one another. Please bring a dish to share!
In Secret Church 19, we'll see that all of Scripture invites us to pursue God, and we'll see how crucial the role of prayer and fasting is in this pursuit. Beginning in Genesis and moving all the way through Revelation, David Platt shows us that God has designed prayer and fasting not only to meet our daily needs but more importantly so that we might find greater intimacy and satisfaction in Him. We'll also see the critical role of prayer and fasting in carrying out the mission Christ gave to His church—to make disciples of all nations.
It is the Gospel that our world desperately needs; it is the only answer to the hopelessness, despair, and anguish that we see in our world today. Join Clay as we move to more fully understand and solidify the content of the Gospel in our own minds, so that we can more effectively share it with those around us, all for His Glory. Wherever you are in your walk with the Lord, this class is for you!
Join others from the Fort Madison Campus as we take an extended weekend to look at missions in a cross-cultural context. We will travel to Minneapolis, MN and "discover God's heart for the world through exploring God's Word, discover where the task remains unfinished and how to reach across cultures through exploring God's World, and discover [our] part in His story through exploring ways to be engaged in God's Work." (Quoted from Engage Global website).
Our God, our families, and our world needs Biblical men; men who courageously represent their God in all aspects of their lives. Join Pastor John DeLuca in exploring how men can rise to that challenge in their workplaces—how men can do their work with excellence AND be disciples that make disciples, all for His Glory!
We’d like every volunteer involved in our worship and tech teams to attend this development day! Please join us as we discuss our vision for corporate worship, identify how each team member can contribute to that vision, and be encouraged together. You and your families are invited to join us at the Burlington Campus for dinner and development on February 17 at 5 p.m. Register below by February 10!
