TPCS offers licensed professional counseling for individual adults and adolescents, couples, and families facing issues such as:

Who We Are

The Elder Board of Harmony Bible Church believes that professional Christian counseling has a vital role to play in the discipling process of the local congregation. For this reason, a partnering ministry has been formally established between HBC and Russ and Diane Reed under the title of Turning Point Counseling Services (TPCS).

 

What We Believe

We believe that at the core of all properly understood problems, real and lasting solutions require what only God through Christ can give - forgiveness, healing, and love. The result is that we are then ale to know and love God and others in more powerful life-changing ways. We at HBC ar committed to more deeply understanding the work of Christ and its effect in our lives. Our goal is to join God's will in helping people to "walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called." Eph. 4:1

 

When We Truly Listen...

To the cry of our soul, we are apt to hear the questions...

• How can the tension in my marriage be turned around?

• How do we handle our finances?

• How do I face the difficult issues (depression, addiction, sexual struggles) which seem 

   to have a stronghold on my life?

• Is there hope for someone who has lived through such horrible time of physical, 

   emotional, or sexual abuse?

• What am I supposed to do with the confusion and hard struggles of raising my 

     children?

• Why is my anger so close to the surface?

• Why do I feel that I just don't fit? Is there something wrong with me?

• Can there really be joy and peace for my life?

 

The questions come easy, while the answers appear elusive. The Lord makes one thing clear throughout His Story - there is no problem which exists outside of His passion and desire to be more deeply known as our God and friend.

 

Can I Afford Professional Christian Counseling?

The partnering commitment between Harmony Bible Church and Turning Point Counseling Services is structured so that a flexible sliding fee schedule is available to all people based on their financial ability and resources. A copy of this schedule and other intake forms are available through calling TPCS directly. At this time, there is no health plan that covers counseling fees.
