Tell us a little about you.

My name is Jeremy and I’m the Executive Director at Harmony Bible Church.  My Dad was in the military as I was growing up – so we lived all over the place, usually for short period’s of time. I went to 4 different high-schools, so I’ve always been on someone else’s home turf.  God equipped me with a personality that is “aggressively friendly.” So if I meet you and quickly invade your space, shake your hand, or slap you on the back like we’ve been friends for years....sorry, I can’t help it, I just want to know you! 

What was your childhood ambition?

When I was little my Mom always said “that boy is gonna be a Baptist Preacher,” my Dad said I would probably join the carnival.  Growing up, I wanted to either be a doctor or the President of the United States. 

Speaking of family...

If you see my wife Mindy and I together, you will agree that the Lord must have blinded her eye’s until we had entered the bonds of matrimony!  She’s beautiful inside and out; I can’t stop thanking God for her!  We were best friends in high school, and to this day she is still the one person on this earth who I’d rather be with than anyone else (Although, my kids are pretty awesome too! Kaitlyn is my girl, and Cooper is the male offspring)

What do you like best about your ministry?

I have a job that I love, working for/with people I love, and have a passion for Jesus that I want to bring into every single thing I do. I really don’t care “what” I “do,” or what my title is.... My prayer is simply that I’d be like the disciples in Acts, who when others saw them they “recognized them as having been with Jesus.”  The best part about my job is rallying others to lock arms, and lovingly make a difference in the name of Jesus!

I am a sinner who desperately needs a Savior.  Even though I work at a church, I’m just like you, trying to catch up to the person Jesus has already made in me.
