Mission

Tell us a little about you.

I was born and raised in East Tennessee and had never lived anywhere else before coming to Harmony in August 2011.  I met my wife Monika in high school and (although she once dumped me a week before prom) we were married on June 9, 2007.  A little over three years later, God blessed us with a daughter named Sophia Belle.  Being from Tennessee, it’s natural that I bleed orange and can be found in front of my TV cheering on the Vols on Saturdays in the fall. Go Big Orange!

Describe your roll at Harmony.

My role is simply to minister to students and it’s the best job in the world.  We strive to keep God’s Word at the center of everything we do in student ministry and we have a ton of fun in the process.

What do you like best about your ministry?

I have been in youth ministry since I was 21 years old and love sharing the gospel with students and seeing them strive to become what God has called them to be.

What was your childhood ambition?

I wanted to play in the NBA.  Unfortunately, the demand for slow, uncoordinated, white guys has fallen off in the past few decades.

You might not know...

I’m a documentary geek.  When I’m home by myself and there are no sports on, I will usually find some kind of historical documentary on Netflix and be set for hours.
